Summer Game Festival [RAGINRAMEN EDITION]
Welcome back everyone, carrying on from my last article on the Steam Summer Game Festival, I wanted to get a start on what my Curated recommends are. I know it's too late to play most of these demos, but you can still wishlist them and eagerly await their release.
As mentioned in my last post, 900 demos were available, of which I browsed through probably half of that. So that means over 400 demos didn't even get seen. From those, I downloaded about 190 titles and have played through most of those. I will list my findings below.
All titles in bold with an (*) still have demos available
My Top 20 Picks
A Jugglers Tale Children of Silentown Cris Tales*
dont_forget_me* Figment: Creed Valley* Gestalt: Steam & Cinder
Metamorphosis Mutropolis* NUTS
Omno Patricks Parabox* Pumpkin Jack
Raji: An Ancient Epic Ray's The Dead Say No! More
Slender Threads Suzerain The Wild at Heart
UnMetal* Vagrus - The Riven Realms
Inspector Waffles*, Kill It With Fire*, Kosmokrats, Lamentum*, Liberated.
Papetura*, Paradise Lost, Partisans 1941*, Pendragon, Sayri.
SOLASTA: Crown of the Magister, Spiritfarer*, Telomere, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, The Rat Project*.
The Uncertain At The End*, TOHU, Undying, VoidTrain, YesterMorrow*.
Yes... I really did play all of these demos. Reviews will be incoming, with video playthroughs that I recorded for each of the Top 20 IndieGames that I selected.
Despite my very best, I still missed many that I wanted to get stuck into [see below]. Don't worry, I will be ready to play them as soon as they are available again. You have been missed but never forgotten.
Phew, that was a lot of work (also a lot of fun, but boy... a lot of work).
Stay posted for more in the coming days as I dish out some of my thoughts on the demos presented to us.
Get ready to DIG in. 🍜
